Question #: 39
Topic #: 6
[All 5V0-21.21 Questions]

cluster for a customer who is planning to use vRealize Automation to provision 600 virtual machines into that cluster, with expected growth up to 1,000 VM. Each VM has a 40GB thick-provisioned disk.

Which flash disk size is required for the cache tier per ESXi node to meet all requirements?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

40GB x 1000VMs = 40 000 GB total max expected usage 40 000GB / 5 node cluster = 8000 GB per node cache should be 10% so 800GB SSD is needed. However this question is stupid from real life perspective. one host can run up to 200 VMs - so what with MM, any failure ? Cluster should be sized with 6 ESXi hosts minumim

I agree, 800GB sounds right for the cache tier.

Wait, are we sure 700GB isn't enough?

Definitely need more than 400GB for that many VMs!

600GB seems like it might be cutting it close.

I think 800GB is the way to go for future growth.

I vaguely remember that the cache tier should be sized based on the total number of VMs and their disk sizes. I think I might have seen a question like this before, but I can't remember the answer.

If each VM has a 40GB disk and we're provisioning 600 VMs, that’s a lot of space! I feel like we might need more than 600GB for the cache tier, but I can't recall the exact calculations.

I think we practiced a similar question where we had to determine the total disk space needed for multiple VMs. I might be leaning towards option D, but I need to double-check the math.

I remember something about calculating storage needs based on VM disk sizes, but I'm unsure how to factor in the cache tier specifically.

Okay, let me see. I know Service Appointments are shared with Service Resources, so it's probably one of the territory-related objects. I'll go with Service Territory Member.

Okay, I've got this. The key is to identify who can be considered a stakeholder in an organization. I'll eliminate the options that are too narrow or exclusive.

Ah, I think I've got it. The issue is likely that he's already created a contact, which would disable that option. I'm feeling pretty confident about that.

I'm a bit confused by the wording of the question. Does it mean the two events that occur regardless of any exceptions, or the two events that occur if an exception is thrown?

This seems tricky, but I think I can figure it out. I'll start by sketching out the demand and revenue curves to get a visual on what's going on.

This question is testing our knowledge of employment law and worker protections. I'll need to draw on my understanding of relevant labor regulations to determine the right response.
