Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, D, E

The Scrum values of courage, openness, and respect are touched in this situation. Courage means that the Scrum Team members have the courage to do the right thing and work on tough problems, and also to speak up when they have concerns or disagreements. Openness means that the Scrum Team members and stakeholders agree to be open about all the work and the challenges with performing the work. Respect means that the Scrum Team members respect each other to be capable, independent people, and also respect the opinions and ideas of others.

In this case, the newest developer showed courage by expressing his feelings during the Sprint Retrospective, which is an opportunity for the Scrum Team to inspect itself and create a plan for improvements. The rest of the Developers should have been more open to listening to his perspective and ideas throughout the Sprint, as they might have valuable insights or suggestions for improving the product or the process. The Developers should also have respected the newest developer as a member of the team, and given him a fair chance to contribute and collaborate with them.

Not sure if just adding the done part to velocity is a good idea.

I vaguely remember that stakeholders have a say in acceptance, but I don't think they solely decide on undone work. So maybe C isn't the best choice after all.

I think we practiced a question like this, and I recall that the work not meeting the Definition of Done means it can't be included in the Increment. So B seems right, but I'm not sure about the second choice.

I'm a bit unsure about the options, but I feel like D makes sense too since the Product Owner needs to decide the next steps for the incomplete work.

I remember discussing how incomplete items should not count towards the Sprint's Increment, so I think B is definitely one of the answers.

I'm a bit unsure here. Should the stakeholders be involved in deciding what to do with the undone work? I'm not sure if that's the right approach.

I'm pretty confident on this one. The item should be reviewed, the completed work added to the velocity, and a new Story created for the remaining work. That seems like the most sensible way to handle it.

Okay, let's see. The item didn't meet the Definition of Done, so it can't be included in the Increment. I think the key is to review the work and capture what was completed.

D sounds appealing because it emphasizes brand consistency, but I’m hesitant about using the same images repeatedly. It might come off as stale.

I'm a little confused by this question. The options don't seem to directly address why a governance specialist would be involved in pre-deployment. I'll have to review my notes and see if I can figure out the right approach.

Hmm, this is a tough one. I'm going with B and D, though. Can't have unfinished work in the Increment, and the Product Owner's gotta take the lead on what to do with it. Anything else would just be a recipe for disaster, am I right?

A? Really? Adding an unfinished item to the velocity? That's just asking for trouble. B and D are the clear winners here. Gotta keep that Scrum train on the right track, you know?

Ah, the joys of Scrum. I'd say B and D are the right choices here. Can't be including unfinished work in the Increment, and the Product Owner needs to sort it out. Simple as that.
