Definitely Flow Builder. Validation rules and formula fields won't work for this use case.

I keep mixing up validation rules and approval processes, but I don't think either of those would work for this scenario.

This seems similar to a practice question we did on automating updates; I feel like Flow Builder was the right choice there too.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about formula fields being more for calculations rather than updates.

I think we might need to use Flow Builder for this, since it can handle updates based on record changes.

Flow Builder is probably the way to go. That'll let me build the logic to update the Audited date field when the status changes to 'Audited'.

Approval process? I don't think that's the right tool for this kind of simple automation. Feels like overkill.

Validation Rule could work, but that would just prevent the status change if the Audited date isn't set. I'd want something that actually updates the date automatically.

Hmm, not sure if a Formula Field would work here since we need to update the field based on a status change, not just a formula.

I think I'd go with Flow Builder for this one. Seems like the best tool to automate the date update when the status changes.
