Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

Answer option A is correct.

Harris v. Forklift Systems Inc. was referenced in the case of same-sex harassment brought to the Supreme Court in Oncale v. Sundowner (D). Oncalehelped determine that gender is of little consequence when harassment meets the statutory requirements defined in Harris. Faragher v. City of Boca Raton (B) and Burlington Industries v. Ellerth (C) were also important cases aiding in interpreting the concept of sexual harassment in the workplace.

I'm going with C) 2 hours. The flight is from 4 PM to 6 PM, so that's 2 hours of travel time that John should be compensated for.

Ha! John better pack his suitcase and his sleeping bag, because he's about to get paid for a whole day's work without leaving the airport! The FLSA has got his back.

I think the answer is B) 1 hour. Since the flight is on a Sunday and it's outside of John's regular work hours, he should be eligible for at least one hour of compensation.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm not sure if the FLSA covers travel time for nonexempt employees on weekends. I might need to double-check the regulations.
