I think enabling deduplication and compression might help, but I’m not convinced it would solve the immediate capacity problem.

I remember we discussed how adding a vSAN ReadyNode could really help with capacity issues, but I'm not sure if that's the quickest option here.

Adding a single disk and creating a storage pool seems like a bit of a bandaid solution. I'd want to go with a more comprehensive approach to really address the capacity issues.

Okay, I'm leaning towards adding a vSAN ReadyNode to the cluster. That seems like the most efficient way to scale up the capacity without having to mess with individual disk groups.

I'm a bit confused here. Wouldn't enabling deduplication and compression be a good way to free up space as well? Or is that not the best approach for this scenario?

Hmm, this seems straightforward. I think adding more capacity disks to each disk group would be the best option to expand the datastore quickly.

I think we should add additional capacity by adding a vSAN ReadyNode to the cluster.
