An administrator has configured Storage I/O Control (SIOC) on a Virtual Machine File System (VMFS) datastore.

* The datastore supports 30,000 IOPS

* Storage I/O Control has been set to manual

* Storage I/O Control is triggered when latency hits 30 ms

* The datastore contains 3 virtual machines (VMs)

* A gold tier VM

I agree with Elli, because SIOC is triggered at 30ms latency.

I think the bronze tier VM is entitled to 10,000 IOPS.

I think the answer is B) 20,000 IOPS. Since the datastore supports 30,000 IOPS and there are three VMs with different tiers, the bronze tier VM should get the remaining IOPS after the gold and silver tier VMs have been allocated their shares.
