A project seeking to achieve Indoor Environmental Quality Credit, Low Emitting Materials has outdated certifications demonstrating that the wall and ceiling paint are low emitting materials. What should the LEED AP do?
I feel like I saw a similar question in practice where we had to verify material certifications. I think getting the current certifications makes the most sense.
I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about needing to ensure all materials are compliant. Maybe unattempting the credit isn't the best move?
Ugh, I hate when projects have these kinds of issues. I'd probably just request that the room be repainted with compliant paint to avoid any headaches.
Hmm, I wonder if they'd accept a paint sample as proof of compliance? Just kidding, option D is clearly the way to go. Who wants to risk losing that credit?
