I’m pretty confident that properties can be set in the UI under Metric Metadata, but I’m not sure about the propagation part.

I'm a bit confused about how properties relate to dimension key:value pairs. I feel like I need to review that concept again.

I remember a practice question that mentioned properties being sent with datapoints, so I might go with option B.

I'm a bit confused by this question. I know properties are important, but I'm not sure how they work exactly. I'll just try to eliminate the options that seem clearly wrong and go from there.

Okay, I remember learning about properties being applied to dimension key-value pairs and propagated to all MTS with that dimension. I'll select C for sure.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about the difference between properties and datapoints. I think B might be true, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I'm sorry, but I just can't focus on this question. I'm too busy trying to figure out how many properties it takes to screw in a lightbulb.

B is definitely wrong. Properties are not sent with datapoints, they are separate metadata information.

I think options A, C, and D are correct. Adding properties through the API, applying them to dimensions, and setting them in the UI are all valid ways to add properties to MTS.
