Scrum PSD Exam - Topic 1 Question 46 Discussion

Actual exam question for Scrum's PSD exam
Question #: 46
Topic #: 1
[All PSD Questions]

Which of the following two best describe a ready product backlog item?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, E

A ready product item needs to be able to be done in a sprint (scrum guide). In order for it to be ready, the product owner and the developers need to understand it well. Tracking tools and requirements analysis and how user stories should be made isn't part of scrum or the best practices for development.

Fully described in user requirements? Sounds a bit too formal for me!

I think it should also be something that can fit within a sprint.

Wait, does changing status in the tool really mean it's ready?

A ready backlog item should definitely be a complete user story.

I vaguely recall something about the tracking tool, but I'm not convinced that C really captures what makes an item ready.

I feel like we talked about how items need to be achievable within a sprint, so E seems like it could be a valid option as well.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think a complete user story is important too. Maybe A is also relevant?

I remember discussing that a ready product backlog item should be well understood by both the developers and the product owner, so I think B might be a good choice.

I'm a little confused on this one. I'll need to think through the different criteria and see which two best describe a ready backlog item.

I'm confident I know the answer to this one. The ready backlog item needs to have been changed from unready to ready status in the tracking tool.

Okay, I think I've got this. The key things to look for are a complete user story with all the necessary components, and that it's well understood by the team.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I'll need to review the definition of a ready backlog item to make sure I pick the best options.

This question seems straightforward, but I want to make sure I understand the key criteria for a ready product backlog item.

The Data Model Designer sounds like it could be the right answer, since it's focused on designing data models. But I'm not 100% confident that's the dependency modeling feature they're looking for.

The key here is that the template needs to be accessible to the Oracle VM Manager, so I'd say the answer is C - on another mounted file system accessible to Oracle VM Manager.

Okay, let's see. I think the "bcast" command might be used for broadcasting messages, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to double-check the options.
