In Salesforce, Contacts are deleted if an Opportunity hasn't been closed in 180 days. As a result, the corresponding prospects are marked as[[crm_deleted]] in Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. If the Request a Demo form is completed after that 180 day period, the prospect should be recreated as a Lead.

What automation tool should be used to solve this need?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

The recommended way to accomplish sending out a new whitepaper to prospects and tracking who opens the PDF is to upload the whitepaper PDF as a content file and link to it in the body of the email. A content file is a type of file that can be uploaded and stored in the Content Builder, which is a tool that allows marketers to create and manage content assets. A content file can be linked to in the body of an email, which allows prospects to access the file by clicking the link. By linking to a content file, marketers can also track who opens the PDF, as the link will generate a tracking code that records the open activity. Uploading the whitepaper PDF as a content block, attaching it to the email, or embedding it in the email are not recommended ways to accomplish sending out a new whitepaper to prospects and tracking who opens the PDF, as they either do not allow linking, do not allow tracking, or do not display properly. Not so sure about that, I thought Dynamic lists were better for this.

Wait, are we sure about the 180 days rule? Seems strict.

I think Engagement studio could work too, though.

Dynamic lists sound familiar, but I can't recall if they can actually recreate a Lead from a deleted prospect.

I remember practicing a question about segmentation rules, but I don't think that's the right fit for this scenario.

I'm not so sure about that. I feel like Engagement Studio could also work, but it seems more focused on nurturing rather than recreating Leads.

I think we might need to use Automation rules since they can handle specific criteria like the 180-day mark.

I'm pretty confident that Engagement Studio would be the way to go here. It can handle the logic of checking the Opportunity status and then triggering the appropriate action in Marketing Cloud.

Okay, I think I've got it. Since we need to recreate the prospect as a Lead after the 180-day period, an Automation rule in Marketing Cloud would be the best solution to handle this automatically.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused. Is this a Salesforce-specific issue or a Marketing Cloud issue? I'll need to make sure I understand the full context before deciding on the right approach.

This seems like a tricky one. I'll need to think through the process carefully to determine the best automation tool for this use case.

Azure SQL Database is the obvious pick here. It's designed for easy management and scaling, which aligns with the goal of minimizing ongoing maintenance.

This question seems straightforward - the CEO is talking about significant, quick changes, so I think the answer is probably Revolution.

I think a contract management plan is part of the project management plan, but I'm not entirely sure. We discussed this in class, didn't we?

I've worked with NIST and GDPR before, so I have a good understanding of how they apply in cloud migration scenarios. I'll weigh the pros and cons of each.

This seems straightforward enough. I just need to plug the given numbers into the dividend valuation model formula and solve for the share price. As long as I don't make any silly mistakes, I should be able to get the right answer.

Segmentation rule? Nah, that's for audience selection, not the kind of logic we need here. Automation rule is the clear choice.
