Option A - the 'Export and Restore' approach. Sounds like a job for the Salesforce Superhero team, complete with capes and tights.

Option B sounds like a recipe for disaster. Losing the namespace could lead to all sorts of integration nightmares. I'd rather not wake up in a cold sweat over that one.

A) Export all data from objects/fields of the managed package, uninstall it, install the unlocked package with the same namespace as the Managed package and restore all data.

Option C? Are you kidding me? CI/CD with a managed package? That's like trying to fly a plane with a blindfold on.

I'd go with Option D. Keeping the managed package for the objects and fields, while migrating the other components to an unlocked package, seems like the best compromise.

Option A seems like the safest approach, but I'm not sure if it's the most efficient. Migrating all the data could be a pain.

Yeah, I agree. It might take a lot of time to export and restore all that data.

I'm not sure about option D. I think option A might be safer as it involves exporting all data before making any changes.

I agree with Ilene. Option D seems like the most efficient way to migrate to unlocked packages without losing important data.

I think option D is the best choice. It allows for a smooth transition to unlocked packages while still keeping the necessary components.
