I'm not sure I agree with that. Using ISML conditional tags might be a bit more flexible and maintainable in the long run. Plus, it keeps the codebase cleaner.

Option A seems to be the obvious choice here. Creating a custom attribute in the SitePreference object type would allow the merchant to easily manage the snippets without having to touch the codebase.
