Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect (Arch-301) Exam - Topic 10 Question 23 Discussion

Actual exam question for Salesforce's Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect (Arch-301) exam
Question #: 23
Topic #: 10
[All Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect (Arch-301) Questions]

Universal Containers (UC) is implementing a SalesforceB2B multi-cloud project with large volumes of data and daily transactions from multiple third-party systems via multiple integrations. UC is looking at transactions of more than 1 million records a week and, in higher seasons, 10 million records a week. UC has made the decision to get a full copy sandbox to use to test all of its third-party integrations across its multiple clouds. UC has also invested in MuleSoft and the Anypoint Platform as the single enterprise service bus for all of the third-party data going into Salesforce.

Which type of performance testing should a Solution Architect recommend for testing data at scale on this project?

A is the best choice, no doubt about it!

Wait, can a full copy sandbox really handle that much data?

A is the way to go! You need to stress test before launch.

I think B makes more sense for catching issues early.

Definitely A! API load testing is crucial for high data volumes.

I recall that page load testing is usually done post-launch, so option C doesn't seem right. I think A is the best choice, but I’m not completely confident about the sandbox type.

I think we practiced a similar question where API load testing was emphasized for integrations. I would lean towards option A again, but I wonder if a partial copy sandbox could suffice.

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like unit testing might not cover the scale of data they're dealing with. Option B seems too limited for this scenario.

I remember we discussed the importance of load testing, especially with high transaction volumes like UC's. I think option A makes the most sense for their needs.

I'm a bit confused by the question. It seems like they're asking about performance testing, but then some of the options mention things like unit testing and page load testing. Shouldn't we be focusing on load and stress testing to validate the system can handle the high transaction volumes? I'd lean towards option A or D, but I'm not 100% sure.

I think option A is the way to go here. With that kind of data scale, you really need to simulate the full production load before go-live to make sure everything can handle it. Page load testing (option C) is more for the end-user experience, which is important, but won't necessarily catch issues with the backend integrations. Gotta go with the API load test.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. The question mentions they're using MuleSoft and the Anypoint Platform, so I'm wondering if unit testing the codebase (option B) might be a better approach to ensure the integrations are working properly. But the data volumes are huge, so an API load test could make sense too.

This seems like a pretty straightforward question. I'd recommend going with option A - performing an API load test against the full copy sandbox before go-live. With the massive data volumes they're dealing with, that's going to be the best way to stress test the system and identify any performance bottlenecks.

Okay, I think I've got it. The traffic from R5 will go to R1 first, since that's the only router R5 is connected to. Then R1 will forward it to R2 since R2 has the higher local preference. So the answer is C.

I think a major management function is probably quality control. Didn't we have a question about that in class?

I'm a little confused by the options here. What's the difference between a TCP FIN scan and a TCP SYN/ACK scan? I'll need to review my notes to make sure I understand the nuances of these techniques.

I'm pretty sure the Avengers would step in and help with the performance testing. Captain America would definitely be on the API load testing team.

Hold on, why are we not considering page load testing in production? That's where the real action is, and we need to make sure the user experience is smooth.

I'm not so sure about that. Unit testing the codebase seems like a better approach to me. That way, we can catch any bugs or performance issues at the code level.
