I think both of those reasons make sense. The firewall could be blocking the connection and if the web server is down, that would also cause the error message.

I agree with Nieves, that could definitely be one of the causes. Another possibility could be that the QlikView Web Server has stopped.

You know, if I had a dollar for every time I saw a 'Request timed out' error, I'd be a rich man. Definitely sounds like a network problem to me.

Haha, the 'No server' error message is so vague, it's like the computer is just giving up on life. But seriously, I'd check the firewall and the certificate first.

I'm guessing it's the digital certificate issue. Without a valid certificate, the AccessPoint server can't communicate with the QlikView Server. Classic IT security problem.
