Type 3 Summary LSA is also not in point-to-point, right?

Wait, are you sure about that? I thought Type 5 was the odd one out.

Type 2 Network LSA is not in point-to-point OSPF.

If I recall correctly, Type 2 Network LSA is used in broadcast networks, so it makes sense that it wouldn't appear in point-to-point only OSPF networks.

I’m a bit confused; I thought Type 1 Router LSA was only for point-to-point links, but now I'm second-guessing myself.

I remember practicing a similar question, and I think Type 5 External LSA is definitely not used in point-to-point setups.

I think Type 2 Network LSA is the one not found in point-to-point OSPF networks, but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm not too sure about this one. I know the different LSA types, but I'm having trouble remembering which one is not used in point-to-point OSPF. I'll have to think this through carefully.

Okay, I got this. In a point-to-point OSPF network, there are no multi-access networks, so the Type 2 Network LSA wouldn't be used. I'm pretty confident the answer is B.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused on this one. I know OSPF has different LSA types, but I'm not sure which one is specific to point-to-point networks. I'll have to review my notes.

I think the answer is B. Type 2 Network LSA is not found in point-to-point only OSPF networks since there are no multi-access networks.

Type 1 is for routers, Type 2 is for networks, Type 3 is for summaries, and Type 5 is for external routes.

I bet the exam writer is laughing at us, trying to catch us out with this network topology question. But I'm not falling for it - the answer is B, no Network LSAs in point-to-point OSPF.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I was leaning towards D, but B makes more sense since there's no need for a Designated Router in a point-to-point setup. Time to review my OSPF fundamentals!

I was also confused between D and B, but now it makes sense that Type 2 Network LSA is not needed in point-to-point setups.

I think it's B) Type 2 Network LSA because there's no DR in point-to-point networks.

Type 2 Network LSA is not found in point-to-point only OSPF networks, as there are no broadcast networks to elect a Designated Router. The correct answer is B.

I agree with Domonique, because Type 3 LSAs are used for summarizing routes and are not necessary in point-to-point networks.
