Haha, I bet the person who wrote this question was trying to trick us. The answer is clearly C) Router R3. It's the next-next-hop router, so it becomes the MP.
I'm pretty sure the answer is B) Router R2. The MP is the router that combines the two backup paths, and in this case, it's the next-hop router from the PLR, which is R2.
Hmm, this looks like a tricky one. Since both LSPs have facility bypass and link protection enabled, I think the MP (Merge Point) would be the next-next-hop router, which is R3.
