Suggested Answer: B

(A) With the slight and mild hard of hearing, auditory training is beneficial. Signing seems like it could be easier for them, but I guess it depends on the child's exposure to it. I’m a bit confused about which task is truly the hardest.

Lip reading sounds difficult, especially for severe cases. I feel like it requires a lot of practice and might not be effective for everyone.

I’m not sure, but I think speech development might be tough too. We practiced a question about that in class, and it seemed significant.

I remember discussing how auditory training can be really challenging for kids who can't hear well at all. It seems like it would be the hardest for them.

I'm leaning towards speech being the most difficult. Developing spoken language skills without being able to fully hear would be a huge challenge.

Auditory training seems like it would be the hardest since the child has a severe hearing impairment and may not be able to fully benefit from that type of training.

I think signing might be the most challenging. It requires learning an entirely new language and communication system.

This is a tricky one. I'm not sure if speech or lip reading would be the most difficult for a severely hearing-impaired child.

I think B. Speech is the toughest. How can a child who can't hear learn to speak properly? That's gotta be a real uphill battle.

Definitely C. Lip reading is the most challenging for a severely hearing-impaired child. Imagine trying to read lips when you can't even hear the words!
