Wait, can you really just use a USB?

I have a feeling this might not meet the goal. I think there are specific steps required after inserting the USB that we might be missing.

I practiced a question like this, and I believe inserting the USB at the Welcome screen is the right step for deploying the package.

I'm not entirely sure if the Surface Hub supports provisioning this way. I remember something about needing to connect to a network first.

I think this method could work since I've seen similar questions where using a USB drive for provisioning was mentioned.

This seems pretty straightforward. As long as the provisioning package is set up properly, I don't see any issues with just plugging in the USB drive when the Surface Hub is on the Welcome screen.

Okay, so the key is getting the provisioning package onto the Surface Hub. I think I'd test this out on a spare device first, just to make sure everything gets set up correctly before deploying it across all the hubs.

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. Deploying the provisioning package seems simple enough, but I want to double-check that it will actually configure the certificates, apps, and proxy settings as needed.

This looks straightforward. I'd just need to create the provisioning package and copy it to a USB drive, then insert the USB when the Surface Hub is on the Welcome screen.

I'm a bit confused by all the technical details here. I'll need to make sure I understand the overall problem and what each of the command options is doing before I can confidently select the right answer.

Hah, of course that's the right way to do it! What, did you think you were going to have to fax the provisioning package to the Surface Hub or something? This isn't the 90s, people.

Definitely yes. I've done this a bunch of times, and it's the only way I know to get that provisioning package on the device. Though I do miss the days when we could just punch in the settings manually. Progress, I guess.

I'm not sure. What if there are multiple Surface Hubs to deploy to? Would this method be efficient?

I'm pretty sure that's how it's done. I mean, where else would you put the provisioning package if not on a USB drive? The Surface Hub doesn't exactly have a floppy drive, you know.

I think inserting a USB flash drive is a good way to deploy the provisioning package.

Yes, that's the correct way to deploy the provisioning package. Just plug in the USB and the Surface Hub will handle the rest. Easy peasy!
