I recall that Global VNet peering is more about connecting VNets rather than direct connectivity to on-premises, so it probably wouldn’t meet the requirement here.

I think a site-to-site VPN could work, but I’m not clear on the bandwidth limits for those. I feel like I’ve seen practice questions that suggest they might not handle 5 Gbps.
