Wait, can we really rely on preemptible VMs for critical jobs?

Not sure if preemptible VMs are reliable enough for this workload.

I feel like we practiced a similar question about VM types, and I think N1 Standard VMs are generally cheaper, but I’m not sure if they’re the best choice here.

I think using a managed instance group could help with scaling, but I’m not clear on how that impacts costs compared to just using preemptible VMs.

I remember we discussed preemptible VMs in class, and they seem like a good option since the workload is fault-tolerant. But I'm not entirely sure if they would work for every job.

I vaguely recall something about testing maintenance events, but I can't remember if that was specifically for preemptible VMs or just any VM type.

Hmm, this seems like a tricky one. I'll need to carefully read through the options and think about the business scenario to figure out the right approach.

Data consistency is critical, so I want to make sure I get this right. Undo data and isolation level seem like obvious choices, but the other two options have me a bit stumped. I'll have to review my notes and try to reason this through.
