You have a batch workload that runs every night and uses a large number of virtual machines (VMs). It is fault- tolerant and can tolerate some of the VMs being terminated. The current cost of VMs is too high. What should you do?
I feel like we practiced a similar question about VM types, and I think N1 Standard VMs are generally cheaper, but I’m not sure if they’re the best choice here.
I remember we discussed preemptible VMs in class, and they seem like a good option since the workload is fault-tolerant. But I'm not entirely sure if they would work for every job.
Hmm, this seems like a tricky one. I'll need to carefully read through the options and think about the business scenario to figure out the right approach.
Data consistency is critical, so I want to make sure I get this right. Undo data and isolation level seem like obvious choices, but the other two options have me a bit stumped. I'll have to review my notes and try to reason this through.
