A pool member should be fine with a 200 response, right?

I think E is also a valid reason.

Wait, so the LTM device is monitoring the pool members like a lifeguard watching a pool full of pool members? That's a lot of monitoring!

Hmm, I wonder if the pool members are feeling a bit under the weather with those 400 and 500 series responses.

I’m a bit confused about the HTTP response codes. I guess a 200 is okay, but I’m not sure about the 300s. I should probably double-check that!

I practiced a similar question, and I feel like if the member doesn't acknowledge the SYN, that could also lead to a down status. It's about connectivity, I think.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about HTTP 300 responses being redirections. Maybe those wouldn't mark the pool member down?

I think if a pool member responds with an HTTP 400 or 500 series code, it would definitely mark them down, right? Those indicate client and server errors.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm torn between B and D. A 300 series response could indicate a redirect, which might not be what the monitor is expecting. But a 500 series error would definitely be a server-side issue. I'll have to think about this a bit more.

C and D would definitely mark them down.

I'm pretty confident the answer is C. A 400 series response code would indicate a client error, which should be enough to trigger the LTM device to mark the pool member as down.

Okay, let me think this through. The monitor is looking for a specific GET / request, and a blank receive string. So if the pool member doesn't respond at all, that would likely cause it to be marked down, right? I'll go with E.

What about D? 500 series means server error, right?

I'm a bit confused here. Wouldn't a 200 series response code, indicating a successful HTTP request, be what the LTM device is looking for? I'm not sure about this one.

Hmm, this seems straightforward. I think the answer is D - a 500 series response code would indicate a server error, which should cause the LTM device to mark the pool member down.

All good points! But I still think D is the most clear-cut reason for a down status.
