During the Deployment Manager wizard, the system confirmed errors detected on one or more new RPAs. You resolve the errors and proceed to the zoning step.

Which step detected the errors?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

In the RecoverPoint Deployment Manager wizard, the step where the system confirms errors on new RPAs and allows the user to resolve them before proceeding is the 'Add New RPA' step. During this step, the wizard checks the newly added RPAs for any configuration or connectivity issues and prompts the user to fix them before continuing with the deployment process.

I’m surprised it wasn't caught earlier in the process!

I believe it's the "Summary" step that confirms everything, but I could be mixing it up with another process.

I’m a bit confused; I thought the "Add New RPA" step was where we would see issues, but now I’m not so certain.

I remember practicing a similar question, and I feel like it might have been the "Apply Configuration Results" step that shows errors.

I'm leaning towards option D, Add New RPA, since that's where you actually define the new RPAs that are being deployed.

The way I see it, the errors were most likely detected when the system was applying the configuration results, so I'd go with option A.

My guess is that the errors were caught in the Summary step, where the system reviews all the configuration details before deployment.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. The question says the errors were detected during the Deployment Manager wizard, so it could have been at any of the steps in that process.

I think the errors were detected during the Configure New RPA step, since that's where you actually set up the new RPAs.

All of you are wrong! The errors were clearly found in the Summary step. That's where the system gives you a nice overview of the whole process, so of course it would catch any issues there. Duh!

I'm gonna have to disagree with you all. The errors were detected during the Apply Configuration Results step. That's when the system finalizes the changes and makes sure everything is working properly.

I think it's Apply Configuration Results because that's where the system checks for errors.

Hmm, I'm going to go with option B. The Configure New RPA step is where the system checks the RPA configuration, so that's where those errors would show up. Easy peasy!

Obviously, the errors were detected during the Configure New RPA step. That's where you actually set up the new RPA, so it makes sense that's where the issues would pop up.
