Actual exam question for CIW's 1D0-61A exam
Question #: 43
Topic #: 4
[All 1D0-61A Questions]

You are expecting a very important file from a co-worker in a remote office to be sent to you through e-mail. You finally call the co-worker and tell him that you have not received the file. He informs you that he sent the file yesterday, but will send it again immediately. After some time, you still have not received his e-mail message. You contact the Technical Support department and ask them for help. After some investigation, Technical Support finds the e-mail from your coworker with an attachment named salesnumbers.exe in the spam folder of your e-mail client. What is the most likely reason that the e-mail message was filtered out?

I doubt it was just the file type. There must be more to it!

I thought file size was the main issue, but .exe makes sense too.

Wait, are we really blocking all remote office emails? That seems extreme.

Totally agree, .exe files are often seen as risky.

It's probably because of the .exe extension. Those get flagged a lot.

I guess it could be the file name length, but that seems less likely than the attachment type being the issue.

This reminds me of a practice question where attachments were blocked due to security concerns. I think option C makes the most sense here.

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like file size limits are usually pretty lenient for internal emails.

I remember studying about email filters, and I think .exe files are often flagged because they can be dangerous.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure on this one. I know SuiteScript is for more advanced scripting, but I'm not totally clear on the differences between that and SuiteFlow. Might need to review my notes on that.

I think it's definitely about enhanced due diligence, but I'm unsure if that's the exact term they used in the study materials.

The key here is finding the fastest and most effective solution. Based on my experience, using group policy to centrally manage the firewall settings is going to be the best approach for a network of this size. I'll make sure I understand the group policy configuration process.
