The ACID properties are key for database transactions, so I'm going to review my notes on them quickly. I'm pretty sure Atomicity is the one that requires the entire transaction to succeed or fail as a unit.
I'm a little confused on the differences between the ACID properties. Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, and Durability - I need to make sure I understand which one is which before I can answer this confidently.
Okay, let me see here. Atomicity, that's the one that says a transaction has to be completed as a whole, right? I think that's the answer I'm going to go with.
Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know the ACID properties are important, but I can't quite remember which one is specifically about the all-or-nothing execution of a transaction. I'll have to think this through carefully.
This one seems straightforward. I'm pretty sure the ACID property that requires a transaction to be executed in its entirety or not at all is Atomicity.
