I'd choose RAID 6 just to be on the safe side. I mean, who wants to be the one to explain to the boss why the PVS vDisk store went down because of a double drive failure?

User 2: RAID 5 might not be enough for high fault tolerance, so RAID 6 seems like the safer choice.

RAID 1 is a solid option, but it only protects against a single drive failure. Wouldn't it be nice to have that extra drive to fall back on?

RAID 0? Are you kidding me? That's the worst possible choice for this scenario. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket!

RAID 5 could work, but RAID 6 is the safer option. Why take the risk of a single drive failure when you can have the extra protection?

RAID 6 is the clear choice here. It provides the high fault tolerance and dual drive failure support that the PVS vDisk store requires.

I'm not sure, but RAID 5 could also be a good option for the PVS vDisk store.

I think the architect could use RAID 6 for the PVS vDisk store.
