Which circumstances make a buyer more attractive to the supplier?

Suggested Answer: B, C

The correct answers are information sharing and trust. Further qualitative KPIs are listed on p.102. Deliveries in full and on time would be a quantitative KPI and early supplier involvement is not a KPI at all.

Let's be honest, the supplier just wants someone who's going to pay their bills on time. All that other stuff is just window dressing. Maybe they should add an option E: 'When the buyer has a fat wallet and a short attention span.'

Option D seems a bit excessive. I mean, how 'procedural' are we talking here? Does the buyer require the supplier to submit their purchase orders in triplicate, or do they want the supplier to come to work in a suit and tie?

Option C, of course! A stringent code of conduct shows the buyer is ethical and reliable. That's the kind of relationship any supplier would want.

Hmm, I'd say option A is the way to go. A high brand profile means the supplier can brag about their big-name buyer. Maybe they'll even get a discount at the company store.

Definitely option B! Longer credit terms mean more cash flow for the supplier. Who doesn't love that?
