I definitely remember discussing self-advocacy in class, so I’m leaning towards D too, but I’m a bit confused about how it connects to the other options.
I'm a little confused on this one. Is disclosing a disability more about workplace readiness or disability etiquette? I'll have to think it through carefully before answering.
Okay, let me think this through. Disclosing a disability is about being able to advocate for yourself and your needs in the workplace. That sounds like it would fall under the self-advocacy requirement. I'm going with D.
Hmm, I'm not totally sure about this one. I know the core pre-employment transition requirements, but I'm having a hard time connecting them to disclosing a disability. Maybe I should review my notes again.
D) self-advocacy, for sure. Anything else and the student might end up disclosing their disability in interpretive dance. Not exactly the professional approach we're going for.
C) disability etiquette is important, but I think D) self-advocacy is the core requirement being met. Teaching students to advocate for themselves is crucial.
