An employee and his manager have decided that he will type reports with no more than one error per five pages. Which type of performance standard are they using?
Well, if the employee is typing the reports, then the time it takes to complete them shouldn't really matter, right? I'm going with A) Quality as the correct answer.
Ha! I bet the manager just wants the reports to be 'error-free' so they can read them without getting a headache. But in all seriousness, I'd say A) Quality is the right answer here.
I think the correct answer is A) Quality. Setting a standard for the maximum number of errors per page is a way to measure the quality of the employee's work.
