I feel like splunkd.log would have a lot of useful information, but I can't recall if splunkd_stderr.log is more relevant for crashes.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember a practice question where the crash log was the most relevant. Maybe the crash-2022-05-13 log is the best one to look at?

Okay, I think I've got this. A is true, the connectors do need to be installed on both ends. C is also true, ODBC is available on multiple platforms. I'm a bit unsure about the others, but I'll make my best guess.

I'm pretty confident the answer is Group Policy. That's the Windows feature that allows IT admins to centrally manage and restrict access to system tools and settings.
