Which command manually triggers a single run of a scheduled task (either a standalone task or the root task in a DAG) independent of the schedule defined for the task?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer

All are correct except a standard-only stream tracks row inserts only.

"CALL TASK" is a thing, but not for this.

I'm leaning towards "CALL TASK," but I remember there being some confusion about that in our last study group.

I feel like "RUN ROOT TASK" could be the answer since it specifies the root task, but I can't recall if that's the standard terminology.

I remember practicing a similar question, and I think "EXECUTE TASK" was mentioned as a possible command, but it doesn't sound quite right for this context.

I think the command might be "RUN TASK," but I'm not entirely sure if that's the exact phrasing used in the documentation.

Ah, this is a good one. I remember learning about this in class. The answer is B. CALL TASK. That's the command to manually trigger a scheduled task outside of its normal schedule.

I think the answer is C. EXECUTE TASK. That sounds like the right command to manually run a scheduled task, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know there's a way to manually run a task, but I can't remember the exact command. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I'm pretty sure the answer is A. RUN TASK. That's the command I've used before to manually trigger a scheduled task.

This is a tough one, but I think I'll go with A) RUN TASK. It's simple, to the point, and who doesn't love a good old-fashioned task run?

D) RUN ROOT TASK has my vote. It's got 'root' in the name, so it must be the one to use, right? I mean, who doesn't love a good root task?

Yeah, I'm also leaning towards RUN ROOT TASK. It just makes sense to trigger the root task directly.

I'm going with B) CALL TASK. It's got a nice ring to it, you know? Like I'm summoning the task to do my bidding.

C) EXECUTE TASK seems like the most straightforward way to manually run a task. Why complicate it with 'RUN ROOT TASK'?
