While facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness activities, the Release Train Engineer (RTE) notices a Feature that is risky to the teams because the technology is new. Which of the following could reduce the risk?
I'm leaning towards option B as well. Ensuring the engineering managers are directing the development process or asking for a detailed design before PI Planning doesn't really address the core issue of the new technology. Exploration Enablers seem like the most effective way to reduce the risk.
Based on my understanding of PI Planning, I think the best approach here is to coach the teams to create exploration Enablers. This allows them to experiment with the new technology and identify any potential issues before fully implementing the feature.
I'm a bit confused by this question. Wouldn't making sure all the technical specifications are written before PI execution also help reduce the risk? I'm not sure if that's the best approach, but it seems like it could be an option.
I'm pretty confident that the answer is B. Creating exploration Enablers is a great way to mitigate the risk of using new technology, as it allows the teams to experiment and learn before fully committing to the feature.
Hmm, this seems like a tricky one. I'm not entirely sure about the differences between the options, but I think coaching the teams to create exploration Enablers could be a good way to reduce the risk.
