This is a tricky one. I'm leaning towards B and D - the Create condition with template transaction and Change condition transaction seem like the best options to handle the special price requirement.

A and D look like the way to go. The Manage Prices - Sales app seems perfect for setting up the special price, and VK12 for changing it back to the standard price later.
