Your customer would like to automate its company's HR transactions. This includes auto-populating fields to reduce data entry errors and automating approvals during self-service transactions.

* A workflow derivation rule based on event reasons (WFD)

* A rule to auto-populate the Job Title, Pay Grade, and Employee Class field values in the Job Information whenever the job code is changed

* A rule to use AddressChange workflow for any address change requests (WFD_Address)

Hmm, 'Personnel Number' and 'User ID' are no-brainers. As for the third option, I'm going to go with 'Employee ID' and hope for the best. Fingers crossed!

I see your point, John. However, Custom ID can be useful if the organization wants to use their own unique identifier for employees.

I'm not sure about the Custom ID option. I think it might be better to use Employee Number instead.

I agree with Mike. Those three options make sense because they are commonly used to uniquely identify employees.

I think the possible options for employee identifiers in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central are National ID, Social Security Number, and Custom ID.

I believe a third option is importing employee identifiers from external systems.

The 'Personnel Number' and 'User ID' options make sense, but I'm not sure about the 'Employee ID' one. Isn't that more for an HR system rather than Success Factors?

I'm not sure about 'Employee ID' either, it does sound more like an HR system term.

I think the 'Personnel Number' and 'User ID' options are definitely correct. The 'Employee ID' option also seems relevant for employee identifiers in SAP Success Factors.
