I guess B) When the subscription order distribution starts is the right answer. That's when the order is officially being processed, so the contract status should be set then.

C) After the subscription order distribution is complete seems like the correct answer. The final contract status should be set only after the entire order fulfillment process is complete.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be set at the time the subscription order is submitted. That way, it's confirmed early on.
