I'm leaning towards option A. Enabling sharing access to the Account sounds like the simplest solution, though I wonder if it might have some unintended consequences.
Option B sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure if it'll give the user the level of control they need. The manual search and assignment seems important.
I see both points, but I think option C could also work. Updating the profile with the Manage Territory permission gives more control over the territories assigned to opportunities.
I disagree, I believe option B is more efficient. Using default Sales Territories will streamline the process of assigning territories to opportunities.
