[All Salesforce Certified Platform Identity and Access Management Architect (Plat-Arch-203) Questions]

Universal Containers (UC) operates in Asia, Europe and North America regions. There is one Salesforce org for each region. UC is implementing Customer 360 in Salesforce and has procured External Identity and Customer Community licenses in all orgs.

Customers of UC use Community to track orders and create inquiries. Customers also tend to move across regions frequently.

I like the idea of Contactless User, but will it really work across regions?

Definitely need contacts for Community access, can't skip that!

I disagree, deleting records seems risky.

Merging the orgs sounds like a smart move! Less maintenance for sure.

I vaguely recall something about Contactless User from a practice question. It might be a smart way to manage licenses, but I’m not entirely confident about the details.

I feel like option C is a bit of a cop-out. Just saying maintenance is necessary doesn’t really solve the problem of optimizing licenses.

I think option B sounds risky. Deleting records could lead to data loss, and I’m not sure if that’s the best approach for customers moving regions.

I remember discussing the pros and cons of merging orgs in class. It seems like a good way to reduce maintenance, but I’m not sure if it’s feasible for UC.

Maintaining separate orgs with data integration seems like the most straightforward approach, but I'll need to look into the overhead and costs involved.

Deleting and deactivating user records doesn't sound like a great idea - that could cause a lot of disruption for customers. I'll have to explore other options.

Merging the orgs could be a good solution, but I'm not sure if that's feasible or if it would create other issues. I'll need to think this through.

This seems like a tricky one. I know the system log can provide a lot of useful insights, but I'm not sure if checking license usage is one of its primary functions. I'll have to think about this a bit more before answering.

I'm a bit confused about the job framework and event system in Oracle VM. I'll need to read through the options carefully to make sure I understand how they work.

Option C is the way to go. Maintaining the data integration is a necessary hassle, but it's better than losing customer information or having a convoluted licensing scheme.

D) Enable Contactless User in all orgs and downgrade users from Experience Cloud license to External Identity license once users have moved out of that region.

C) Contacts are required since Community access needs to be enabled. Maintenance is a necessary overhead that must be handled via data integration.

Haha, I love the 'Contactless User' option! That's a real 'out of the box' thinking. I wonder if they also have a 'Invisible User' license for when customers want to go completely off the grid.

I disagree. Deleting and deactivating records when a user moves regions is a terrible idea. That would just create a mess of data and lead to a poor customer experience.
