Universal Containers uses the Asset object to track products that are installed at customer locations. A new object, Asset Inventory, has been created to capture details about the asset.

Which approach should the app builder take to show Asset Inventory as a related list on Asset?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

The best way to show Asset Inventory as a related list on Asset is to create a lookup relationship on Asset Inventory to Asset. This will allow one-to-many relationship between Asset and Asset Inventory, and display the related records on the Asset page layout.

I disagree, D seems more robust with master-detail.

I think option C is the best choice. Simple lookup relationship!

I feel like option A is not the best choice since roll-ups are usually for aggregating data, not just showing related lists.

I practiced a similar question where we had to relate two objects, and I think using a junction object like in option B could be overkill for this scenario.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about master-detail relationships being useful for roll-up summaries. Maybe option D could be the answer?

I think option C sounds right because a lookup relationship would allow Asset Inventory to be linked to Asset without needing to create a junction object.
