Option D is a bit of a cop-out, don't you think? Storing just the URL instead of the actual image seems like it would defeat the purpose of having the images readily available.

I disagree. I believe creating a Rich-Text Area field and storing the image value would be more efficient and easier to manage.

I agree with Michell. An integration between the systems is the way to go. That way, the images are always up-to-date and accessible from within Salesforce.
