The admin's real challenge here is finding the Distributor Discount field on the Acme Distributor account. Good luck with that!

Option A is the clear winner. Why make it complicated? Just slap that discount on the Quote Line Item and call it a day!

Hmm, I'm leaning towards Option B. Formulas are more flexible, and you can easily update the discount percentage if it changes.

I'm not sure, Option B with the formula field could get tricky. What if the Discount_Level__c field changes? Might be better to just reference it directly.
