Choose 3 answers

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, D, E

Scenario:

A subscription product does not appear in the Product Selection screen during search.

Possible Causes:

A: The Active checkbox must be TRUE for the product to appear.

D: The product requires a Pricebook Entry in the corresponding Quote's Pricebook.

E: If the Component checkbox is TRUE, the product is treated as a bundle component, not standalone, and will not appear in search results.

Why Other Options Are Incorrect:

B: Cost records are unrelated to product visibility.

C: The Optional checkbox determines bundling behavior, not search visibility.

Salesforce CPQ Reference:

Product visibility settings are detailed in CPQ Product Selection Configuration .

I'm just imagining an office full of salespeople frantically searching for this 'invisible' product, like a bunch of magicians trying to find a rabbit that's already disappeared. Thanks, Product team!

Dude, if the product is missing a Cost record, how are you even supposed to sell it? That's like trying to serve a Big Mac without the patty. Gotta be D, for sure.

Hmm, I'm not sure about C. Why would the Optional checkbox cause the product to not show up? Seems like a strange one. A, D, and maybe B are more likely.

I believe the Product missing a Pricebook Entry could also be a reason.

I think B and E are also possibilities. No Cost record means the product can't be priced, and if it's a Component, it may not be shown in the selection screen.

So it seems like there are multiple reasons why the product may not be displaying. We should check all of these possibilities.

You're right, D is another potential reason. Without a Pricebook Entry, the product won't show up in the selection screen.

I think A could also be a possibility. If the Active checkbox is FALSE, it won't be displayed.

I agree, B and E could definitely be reasons why the product is not showing up.

The answer is clearly A and D. If the Active checkbox is FALSE, the product won't show up, and if there's no Pricebook Entry, it won't be selectable either.
