Salesforce CPQ-301 Exam - Topic 6 Question 18 Discussion

Actual exam question for Salesforce's CPQ-301 exam
Question #: 18
Topic #: 6
[All CPQ-301 Questions]

Northern Trail Outfitters (NTO) uses CPQ to streamline its quoting process. NTO has implemented a customer reward system that offers specialty products to highly valued customers. The previous admin created a checkbox field called is_Deluxe__c and added the field Into the Search Filter field set.

Sales reps are complaining that they can see every product except Deluxe when filtering. Instead, sales reps want to see all products, regardless of whether they are Deluxe, while keeping the ability to filter based on the is_Deluxe__c field.

Which two changes should the consultant implement to meet the requirement?

A default value of '-None-' sounds like a good idea.

Wait, why can’t we see Deluxe products at all? That’s odd!

Option C could work too, but not sure if it’s the best fix.

I disagree, we need to keep the filter for is_Deluxe__c.

I think option D makes the most sense. Just remove that field!

I feel like ensuring products have a value for is_Deluxe__c might not solve the issue since they still want to see all products.

I practiced a similar question where we had to adjust field settings, so maybe changing is_Deluxe__c to a picklist could be a solution?

I think creating a filter Product Rule could help, but I can't recall if it would actually show all products as intended.

I remember we discussed how filtering works in CPQ, but I'm not sure if removing the is_Deluxe__c field is the best option.

Okay, I think I've got it - A and B provide implicit record access, while C and D do not. Time to mark my answers.

Okay, let me see here. The question is asking about using SQL Server clustering specifically for IT Management Suite 8.1. That makes me think the answer is more about how clustering can support that particular application, rather than just general clustering benefits. I'm going to review the options carefully and see if I can figure out the best fit.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. I know corrosion can be a big problem with insulation, but I'm not sure exactly how the temperature ranges play into it. I'll have to think this through carefully.
