Option B seems a bit more complex than necessary. Why have two rules when one can do the job? I'd go with Option A for its simplicity.

Ha! The admin must really not want users to select both products. It's like they're playing a game of 'choose one, or else!'

B) A Product Selection Rule with a higher Evaluation Order where the Product Action removes Product A when Product B is chosen, and a second Product Selection Rule with a lower Evaluation Order which removes Product B when Product A is chosen.

A) A Product Selection Rule where two Error Conditions with Summary Variables test if Product A and B have both been selected. If so, a Product Action will remove Product B. Most Voted

I'm not sure I understand the difference between a Product Selection Rule and a Product Validation Rule. Wouldn't Option D also work, as long as the message is clear enough for the user?

Option A looks like the most straightforward way to handle this requirement. Having the Product Selection Rule remove Product B when both are selected is a clean solution.

I think that would make the user experience smoother during configuration.

Yeah, it's simple and effective to just remove Product B if both are selected.

That's a good point, Junita. Option B does seem to provide a more organized approach to handling the selection of Product A and B. I might reconsider my choice.

I disagree, I believe option B is more efficient. It uses two Product Selection Rules with different Evaluation Orders to handle the selection of Product A and B.

I think option A is the best choice because it uses a Product Selection Rule with Error Conditions to remove Product B if both are selected.
