Templates definitely sounds like the right answer to me. That's the primary method I've used in my IT work to ensure consistency across different systems and environments. The other options don't seem as directly relevant.
Ugh, I hate these statistics questions. I always get tripped up on the formulas. Let me see... I think the standard deviation is the square root of the variance, and the variance is the average of the squared differences from the mean. But I'm not totally sure how to apply that here. Maybe I should just guess and move on.
