Universal Containers (UC) is about to embark on a digital transformation initiative to make all of its back-office systems data visible to employees, customers. And partners via front-office capabilities like Salesforce. The CIO has asked the team to identify their various systems, both back- and front-office, and correctly identify the proper use of those systems. The team plans to utilise the Systems of Engagement framework to classify their systems based on how they will be utilized within the enterprise architecture.

Salesforce is being utilued as the master for all sales data-like Opportunities, Quotes, and Cart data---and an ERP is the master for all invoice, order, and payment data.

Wait, why would we use System of Engagement for Orders? That seems off.

SOR for Opportunities makes sense, they need accurate records.

I recall that Opportunities are often treated as a System of Record, but I’m unsure if Orders should also be classified the same way. I might need to review that section again.

This question feels similar to one we practiced where we had to classify different data types. I think I lean towards A or D, but I’m not completely confident.

I think Opportunities should definitely be a System of Record since they are core sales data, but I'm a bit confused about how Orders fit in.

I remember discussing the Systems of Engagement framework in class, but I'm not entirely sure how it applies to Opportunities versus Orders in this context.

For this type of question, I always try to think through the key security principles - confidentiality, integrity, availability. Since the issue is people not picking up their prints, that seems to directly impact confidentiality the most. I'm confident A is the best answer.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know merit pay is supposed to be linked to performance, but I'm not sure if the goal is to align with the organization's mission or just focus on individual performance. I'll have to review my notes to see if I can figure this out.

This one seems pretty straightforward. I'm pretty confident the answer is B - U.S. treasury securities.

Ugh, I'm really struggling with this one. The options all sound similar, and I'm not sure I fully understand the differences between them. I'll have to make an educated guess and hope for the best.
