The CRM Analytics consultant at Universal Containers (UC) has set up data sync for the Salesforce Opportunity object with the Amount currency field added. This is being used in multiple datasets and dashboards, as UC is a multi-currency organization.

The currency used in Salesforce records is set up in GBP but the data on the dashboard is converting to USD. Conversion logic is not set up on any of the recipes.

Why is the currency converting?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

Predicate is a name for a filter condition that defines row-level access to records in a dataset Example: 'rowLevelSecurityFilter':''AccountOwner' == '$User.Name''

I bet the Integration User currency is set up as USD, which is why the data is converting. That's my guess, anyway.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. Shouldn't the currency be determined by the Salesforce records, not the org settings? This is a tricky one.

Hmm, that makes sense. The local currency setting could be overriding the Salesforce records.

I think the answer is C. The org corporate currency is set up as USD, so that's why the data is converting to USD on the dashboard.

I agree with Shaquana, the org corporate currency being set up as USD is probably causing the conversion.

I think the currency is converting because the org corporate currency is set up as USD.
