remove the primary Account from a Contact but is unable to do so. The administrator has already

updated the page layout to no longer require an Account.

What could be the issue?

B is definitely wrong. The page layout settings should override the requirement for a primary Account on a Contact.

D seems to be the correct answer. The Contact needs to be disassociated from the Account first before removing the primary Account.

I'm not sure, but maybe the Account Contact relationship record needs to be deleted first.
