Carpet the floor? Why not just use a nice hardwood instead? Saves you the hassle of measuring.

B. 375 sq. yds. seems way too high. I'm going with D. 41.67 sq. yds.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards C. 125 sq. yds. Seems like a reasonable amount for a warehouse that size.

I’m a bit lost on the conversion part. Is it just the area in square feet divided by 9, or do I need to do something else first?

If I recall correctly, there are 9 square feet in a square yard, so I should divide the total square feet by 9 after calculating the area.

I practiced a similar question last week, and I think I ended up with 375 square yards, but that seems way too high for just a warehouse that size.

I think I remember that to find the area, we multiply the length by the width, but I’m not sure if I need to convert to yards first.

I think I've got it figured out. The dimensions are 25 ft by 15 ft, so the total area is 375 sq ft. Divide that by 9 to get 41.67 sq yds. That must be the right answer.

No problem, I remember from class - just divide the total square feet by 9 to get the square yards. Easy peasy!

Hmm, I'm not sure which formula to use here. Should I be multiplying the length and width, or is there some other step I'm missing?

Okay, I've got this. First, I'll calculate the total square feet of the floor, then convert that to square yards.
