It is now late October and the project is in stage 3. The label design competition has been held and the photos of the staff have been taken. The CEO and Marketing Director still need to choose the winning label design and the 12 photos for the calendar. However, the Executive has learned that two competitors are issuing calendars to MNO's customers by the middle of November. After analyzing the impact of this Issue, one of the options the Project Manager has presented to the Project Board is to close the project prematurely.

There are a number of key facts relating to this project that would need to be recorded if the project Y-e to be closed now.

Which product should show that the staff photo sessions were disruptive to the Engineering Department as they had been scheduled during peak work times without consultation with the Engineering Manager?

The Lessons Report is the right answer here. Capturing the impact of the photo sessions on the Engineering Department is crucial for future projects. Although, I can't help but imagine the Engineering Manager storming into the CEO's office, calendar in hand, shouting 'Do you have any idea how much this disrupted my team?!' Now that's a meeting I'd pay to see!

Definitely the Lessons Report. Gotta document that disruption to the Engineering Department - it's the only way the organization can improve. Although, I have to wonder if the CEO and Marketing Director were trying to sabotage the engineers. Maybe they just wanted to see the look on the Engineering Manager's face when they scheduled the photos!

I agree, the Lessons Report is the best choice here. It's important to capture and learn from these kinds of project challenges, otherwise we're doomed to repeat them. Though I have to say, scheduling photo sessions during peak engineering work times? That's a whole new level of workplace comedy!

The Lessons Report would be the appropriate product to document the disruptive impact of the staff photo sessions on the Engineering Department. This can help the organization learn from this experience and avoid similar issues in future projects.
