A program is developing a next-generation product line, and one component has been delivered. However, due to a change request, expectations for another component are unmet.
What activity should the program manager perform next?
Benefits sustainment and program transition sounds like it could be the right answer, but I feel like that's more for after the components are delivered. I'm leaning towards performance monitoring instead.
I practiced a similar question where the focus was on delivery management. I wonder if that applies here too, but I feel like monitoring performance might be more critical right now.
I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about resource interdependency management being important when dealing with changes. Maybe that could be relevant here?
I think the program manager should focus on program performance monitoring and controlling since there are unmet expectations. It seems like a logical next step.
Resource interdependency management seems like the most relevant option here. The program manager will need to understand how the different components are related and make adjustments accordingly.
I've got a good feeling about this one. I think the program manager should focus on monitoring and controlling the program's performance to get things back on track.
