I remember practicing a question like this, and I think Intermediate certificates were mentioned, but I can't recall if they were used for SSL Forward Proxy.
This seems like a straightforward question about securing firmware updates. I think the key is to ensure the updates are trusted and can't be tampered with, so option A about signing the updates with a trusted certificate is probably the best approach.
Ugh, this is tricky. There are a lot of choices here, and I'm not totally sure which ones are the most effective for capacity planning. Guess I'll have to really think this through.
